Discovering Tomorrow’s Top Trends at NeoCon 2019

Commercial Office Environments President Sara Cook, Designer Angela Sorrell and A&D Market Manager Mary Ann Lucas recently traveled to Chicago for NeoCon 2019 and uncovered some of the latest and greatest workspace design trends.

For more than 50 years, the event has served as a launch pad for innovative ideas from hundreds of leading manufacturers in the commercial design industry. Our team always enjoys being represented at NeoCon every year, as it’s an incredible chance to discover the next great solutions for our Central Indiana clients.

So, what does the future hold for office design?

Check out some of our team’s favorite discoveries from the NeoCon show floor:

1. Longtime Commercial Office Environments partner Haworth brought their featured products for the year and showed off thousands of square feet of innovative and creative pieces for social spaces

Haworth even extended the party out to the NeoCon Plaza, where they utilized a collection of furniture and design pieces perfect for outdoor applications.

2. Open-office floorplans may continue to be a trend, but it’s beneficial to also offer employees quiet retreats in which to focus, take phone calls and have private meetings.

Commercial Office Environments is the preferred Indianapolis dealer of Oasis Berco products. Their Linear Duo and Team Pod enclosures seamlessly fit into an open-floorplan concept while giving colleagues a sense of privacy.

3. While traditional public payphones are antique relics of a bygone era, OneTwoSix Design unveiled its latest lineup of Loop Phone Booths at NeoCon. Their retro-meets-futuristic design is sleek and customizable to fit up to four people for private meetings, conference calls and more.

4. Everywhere you looked at NeoCon 2019, new designs, innovative lounge seating and modular pieces were just waiting to be discovered.
